Wife:

Jessica Shirvington

Matt and Jessica met when they were just 17, and now, two decades later, are happily married and share three children together – daughters Sienna, 15, and Winter, 13, and son Lincoln, 4. Matt and Jessica have been married for 20 years, and share three kids together.

Brother:

Australian sprinter Rohan Browning is no doubt mostly focusing on his 100m race at the Tokyo Olympics, but he has one other thing on his mind.

Much as he admires former Olympian and Channel 7 presenter Matt Shirvington, he’s worried about being compared to him for all the wrong reasons.

The Sydney-based athlete noticed a bizarre glitch on the World Athletics website that used a close-up picture of his crotch as a profile picture.

Still the second-fastest Australian male sprinter of all time, from 1998 Shirvington claimed five consecutive Australian national titles for the 100m sprint event.

Olympics:

The Sydneysider made history this year by becoming the first Australian to qualify for the men’s 100m event at an Olympics since Joshua Ross achieved the feat at the Athens Games 2004.

But a glitch on the World Athletics website worried the 23-year-old ahead of his maiden Olympics campaign – the cover photo on Browning’s profile featured an unflattering close-up of his crotch.
