LSU had to make a major decision at quarterback, but Miles Brennan’s fishing accident resulted in his broken left arm, and paved the way for a starting job for Max Johnson. To his credit, Johnson closed out the 2020 campaign with impressive wins over Florida and Ole Miss. Crime is in good hands.
Sophomore receiver Keshon Bouté had an excellent freshman season with 45 receptions and 735 yards. He’s downright explosive, and LSU’s flamboyant attack should be improved from a season earlier, with powerful tailback Tyrion Davis-Price leading.

Kansas State football faced LSU for the second time in the event’s history on Tuesday night at the Texas Bowl at NRG Stadium.
The Wildcats defeated the Tigers 42–20, giving head coach Chris Clemons his first bowling victory as head coach of Kansas State. K-State running back Duce Vaughn exploded for 146 yards and three rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Skylar Thompson threw 259 yards and scored a trio, including one to Vaughan.
