Injury fantasy
The WR group of the Bucs suddenly look a lot better, a future Hall of Famer joins the mix and Chris Godwin (knee) escapes the PUP list to start training camp. Jones, 33, lost 14 games over the past two seasons, and last year averaged only 43.4 yards per competition with the Titans. He was much better in 2020, his final season with the Falcons, 5.7 catches at an average of 85.7 yards per game with a career-high 11.3 YPT. Last year also he had a 64.6 percent catch rate and 9.0 yards per goal, but with inconsistent performances due to limited playing time and various injuries. Tampa could challenge Cincinnati’s claim for the best WR group in the league, which includes Godwin, Mike Evans, Jones and Russell Gage.
