ITBP successfully organizes under-20 boy’s ice hockey tournament in Ladakh region

In the final match played on Tuesday, Sakura won the title by defeating Neemu by 1 goal from 2.

• For the first time, ice hockey tournament was organized by the ITBP by the 37th Corps of Indo-Tibetan Border Police from 11th to 16th January 2018 in 11 thousand 2 hundred feet of snowy mountain conditions on the high altitude area.

• In the final match played on Tuesday, Sakura won the title by defeating Neemu by 1 goal from 2. At the closing ceremony of the tournament, Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Chief Guest, Deputy Inspector General ITBP Srinagar were present, who rewarded the winning teams and the players.
• This first tournament of your kind ice hockey was conducted under the Civic Action Program of ITBP, courtesy of the Home Ministry.
