Covid:

Adam tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning but the result wasn’t delivered until Tuesday morning, after he had already hit the ice with his Vancouver Canucks teammates for a practice at Rogers Arena.

“We basically don’t go anywhere. We’ve been out of the house twice in the last week,” Micaela said.

News:

As many people noticed on Instagram, they did take their dogs for a hike at Lighthouse Park with Canucks teammate Brock Boeser, but they took different vehicles and were careful not to get too close to Adam’s teammate.

“We told the CDC and (Canucks) everything we did in the last week prior to the positive test,” she said of the conversations they had on Tuesday, after her husband’s Monday test came back positive.

The Gaudettes are active on social media, believing it’s a good way to interact with fans, especially during this time when everyone is told it’s best to just stay home.

Most of the reaction on social media has been positive, but there have been responses that are over the top and out of proportion.

Hockey:

Skating as a freshman for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the United States Hockey League, Gaudette scored 30 points in 41 games.[3]

The Vancouver Canucks drafted Gaudette 149th overall in the fifth round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft after acquiring the pick from the New York Rangers in exchange for Raphael Diaz.

Chicago:

In 2016, he tallied a goal and an assist to beat fellow Canucks prospect Thatcher Demko of Boston College to propel Northeastern to the Hockey East Championship.

Two years after being drafted in the fifth round, he was called a “first-rate prospect,” ranking first in NCAA power-play goals with 14 and third in points after 31 games and in the top 10 nationally.

Injury:

Gaudette put up six shots on goal, had two hits, and had two takeaways on the night. He did so well he was eventually moved up to the Toews line midway through the game.

Personally, I think it could be interesting to see what Gaudette could bring to the table on a line with Jonathan Toews, but I do recognize there are a lot of players vying for spots.
