Injury
New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson will undergo surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee during the team’s presidential opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Wilson will have arthroscopic surgery Tuesday in Los Angeles and flew west on Sunday to prepare for the procedure, which is scheduled to be performed by leading orthopedic surgeon Neil Letrecht.
The Jets are hoping that ElAttrache will only need to trim the meniscus, but the actual extent of the surgery won’t be known until he takes a closer look at the injury during the procedure.

Former NFL quarterback Brady Quinn isn’t stopping his wagon on the Zach Wilson love train.
The Notre Dame alum, who played seven seasons in the league before shifting to broadcasting, erased the Jets’ second year signal-caller this week, saying he “didn’t see more love for reducing a quarterback.”
“Can we accept, once again, the media constantly tries to make this something? They want to work for it so badly, and it’s hard to hear, honestly,” Quinn said on Monday. Said on Fox Sports Radio’s installment of “To Pros and a Cup of Joe”.
