Dexter Loomis gives The Miz an unwanted birthday present: Philadelphia Flyers mascot Gritty tries to bury a hat-trick with Miz repeatedly throughout the show by attempting to give Miz a T-shirt. The Miz turned down the offer in several segments. Before the end of the show, Miz beat Gritty outside Triple H’s office. Loomis, who followed The Miz for weeks on Raw, emerged behind the trendsetter. Loomis knocks Miz unconscious with silence and helps Gritty get back on his feet as Shubhankar gets a kick for good measure.

The Brawling Brutes vs. Imperium (Good ol’ Fashion Donnybrook): Ridge Holland shows off her absurd strength, taking Ludwig Kaiser and Vinci to one shoulder each and delivering a back body drop. Holland’s success was short-lived as Kaiser and Vinci delivered the Imperial bomb ringside. Sheamus gave his group some momentum by saving Butch from an extended beatdown. Sheamus dropped him ringside before hitting Kaiser and Vinci toe-to-toe with Gunther. The Brutes put a fun twist on Sheamus’s trademark clubbing blow as all three members beat Gunther like a drum. Sheamus nearly secured the win after a brogue kick on Gunther; However, Vinci executed a perfectly timed Springboard Splash to break the pinfall.

Things reached a climax when PLE/PPV Extreme Rules aired on Peacock on the night of 8 October. The biggest thing during the evening was the much-anticipated return of Bray Wyatt, and yes, he has a whole new look. You can find details of Wyatt’s return to WWE and the results of each Extreme Rules match below.

The show took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and some of your favorite WWE wrestlers appeared on this very well-organized event, as there were only six matches on the cards. One of the most anticipated encounters on the card was Bianca Belair defending her Raw Women’s Championship against Bayley in a ladder match. Of course, we saw Damage CTRL’s Ayo Skye and Dakota Kai cause problems for Belair.

There were also some big surprises during the evening. No, we haven’t seen anyone driving a tractor in the ring again, but there have been plenty of rumors that the current White Rabbit mystery on WWE programming could lead to Bray Wyatt returning – these rumors were true.

As the brawling brutes entered for an opening encounter with the Imperium, another White Rabbit teaser was played for a moment but was completely ignored by the announcers.

As soon as the referee rang the bell, all six men paired up and started fighting. Sheamus went after Gunther, Butch focused on Giovanni Vinci, and Ridge Holland attacked Ludwig Kaiser.

The ring was surrounded by barrels, a small bar setup and many other things you would find in a typical European pub. This all came into play in the ringside area, along with many other things.

This match was chaotic at best. Everyone was working their butts and putting in one hell of a match. After all was said and done, The Brawling Brutals were able to vanquish the Imperium for the win.

Winner: The Brawling Brutes
