UFC Flyweight Champion Shevchenko is the No. 1 ranked fighter in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings and No. 2 on the pound-for-pound list. One of the most prominent appearances in MMA, Shevchenko hasn’t lost a fight since her 2017 split-call loss to current two-division champ Amanda Nunes, the only fighter to best her in the octagon. Since claiming the flyweight title in 2018, she has defended the belt five times, hardly facing much opposition. Most recently, he stopped former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade.
Murphy, a former Invicta FC champion, has been in tears of late, winning five straight at 125 pounds to climb to No. 4 in the rankings at flyweight, where her overall record is 6-1 in the octagon.

Shevchenko recorded two consecutive victories against Holly Holm and Juliana Pea. He then fought Nunes once again for a bantamweight strap. Unfortunately, she lost by a controversial decision.
Nevertheless, the UFC soon introduced a women’s flyweight division. As a result, Shevchenko returned to his original weight class and presented Priscilla Kachoira via a rear-naked choke. She then fought Joanna Jedrzejic for the vacant flyweight belt at UFC 231. As in their previous three meetings in amateur Muay Thai, Shevchenko won the match and the belt.
