The Tyler Huntley Ravens story took center stage on Sunday night as the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Atlanta Falcons 30-23 in overtime on October 11, 2026. With Lamar Jackson unavailable, Huntley stepped into the starting role and helped Baltimore secure an important road victory at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Known to fans as “Snoop Huntley,” the Ravens quarterback delivered when his team needed him most. His late fourth-quarter drive forced overtime, while Baltimore’s defense and running game helped finish the job against a determined Falcons team.
Tyler Huntley Delivers Under Pressure
Tyler Huntley faced significant pressure throughout the contest, but he produced his most important performance late in the fourth quarter. With Baltimore trailing, Huntley directed a 71-yard drive in less than two minutes to bring the Ravens back into the game.
The drive ended with a game-tying touchdown and a successful two-point conversion, sending the matchup into overtime.
Huntley’s composure during the final minutes highlighted his value as the Ravens backup QB. Although Lamar Jackson remains Baltimore’s primary quarterback when healthy, Huntley demonstrated that he can manage the offense in high-pressure situations.
In overtime, Huntley focused on protecting possession and keeping the offense moving. His approach helped Baltimore control the decisive period and secure the 30-23 victory.

The Baltimore Ravens vs Atlanta Falcons matchup featured several major performances on both sides of the ball. Baltimore relied on Huntley’s late passing, Derrick Henry’s physical running and a crucial defensive interception to claim the win.

Kyle Hamilton Makes the Game-Winning Defensive Play
While Huntley helped Baltimore stay alive, safety Kyle Hamilton delivered the decisive defensive moment.
The Atlanta Falcons had an opportunity to extend their overtime possession, but quarterback Tua Tagovailoa attempted to look Hamilton away from the play. The Ravens safety read the situation and intercepted the pass, ending Atlanta’s hopes of a comeback.
Hamilton’s performance was especially memorable because he grew up in Georgia and had approximately 500 friends and family members watching at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The interception reinforced the importance of Baltimore’s defense in the victory. Huntley and the offense helped force overtime, but Hamilton ensured the Falcons could not respond.
Derrick Henry Powers the Ravens Running Game
Derrick Henry was another major contributor to Baltimore’s success. The veteran running back used his physical running style to keep the offense moving and prevent the Falcons from concentrating entirely on Huntley’s passing.
Henry averaged 4.2 yards per carry, according to the game report. Although that figure was not spectacular on its own, his ability to gain yards on early downs helped Baltimore maintain manageable situations.
His impact became particularly important in overtime, when the Ravens leaned on their powerful running game to wear down Atlanta’s defense and establish the position needed for the winning score.
Henry’s performance also highlighted why Baltimore can remain dangerous even when its starting quarterback is unavailable.
Rashod Bateman, Zay Flowers and Devontez Walker Step Up
Baltimore’s receiving group played an important role in Huntley’s comeback.
Rashod Bateman led the Ravens in receiving production among the highlighted players, finishing with five catches for 62 yards. Zay Flowers added eight receptions for 53 yards, providing Huntley with a reliable option throughout the contest.
Devontez Walker also made a notable contribution with a well-placed back-shoulder reception. His catch helped demonstrate the depth available to Baltimore’s passing offense.
Without Lamar Jackson, the Ravens needed multiple receivers to contribute rather than relying exclusively on their usual offensive formula. Bateman, Flowers and Walker helped Huntley make the most of the opportunities available.
Is Lamar Jackson Playing? Ravens Quarterback Injury Update
One of the biggest questions surrounding the Ravens is: Is Lamar Jackson playing?
Jackson was unavailable for the October 11 matchup against Atlanta, which gave Huntley the opportunity to lead Baltimore’s offense. The supplied game report does not establish a specific return date or provide a complete medical update.
Questions such as “Where is Lamar Jackson?” and “What happened to Lamar Jackson?” are therefore important for fans following the team’s quarterback situation, but his next appearance should not be assumed without an official injury report.
Huntley’s performance offers Baltimore a capable alternative while Jackson is out. However, Jackson remains a significant part of the team’s long-term offensive plans.
The Ravens quarterback depth chart will remain a major talking point until the team provides a clearer picture of Jackson’s availability.
Tyler Huntley and His Connection to the Ravens
Tyler Huntley, frequently called Snoop Huntley, has experience operating Baltimore’s offense as a backup quarterback. His familiarity with the team’s system can help him step into games without requiring the Ravens to completely change their approach.
The Huntley Ravens connection is particularly relevant when Jackson is unavailable. Huntley can use his mobility and decision-making to extend plays, while the team can rely on Derrick Henry to establish the running game.
His overtime victory over Atlanta strengthened the case for trusting him in a starting role when necessary. Nevertheless, one game does not automatically determine Baltimore’s longer-term quarterback plans.
What About Tua Tagovailoa and the Falcons Quarterback Situation?
Tua Tagovailoa was the opposing quarterback in this matchup, and his overtime interception proved decisive. Kyle Hamilton’s read on the play ended Atlanta’s possession and allowed Baltimore to close out the win.
The result also raised questions about Atlanta’s offensive execution in critical moments. Although the Falcons stayed competitive through regulation, the final turnover prevented them from completing the comeback.
For fans searching for the Falcons quarterback, Falcons score or Atlanta Falcons score today, the key result is a 30-23 overtime defeat against Baltimore.
The game’s ending will be a significant talking point as Atlanta reviews its decision-making and execution under pressure.
Michael Penix Jr. Injury: Did Michael Penix Get Hurt?
Searches for Michael Penix Jr., Michael Penix Jr. injury, Penix injury and “Did Michael Penix get hurt?” are separate from the main story of this Ravens-Falcons matchup.
The supplied report identifies Tua Tagovailoa as Atlanta’s quarterback in this game and does not confirm a new injury involving Michael Penix Jr. It also does not provide enough information to establish Penix’s current medical status or explain what happened to him.
Penix Jr. and Lamar Jackson have different roles in their respective quarterback situations, so injury reports concerning either player should be checked independently. Fans should avoid treating online search phrases or unrelated quarterback discussions as confirmation of an injury.
Similarly, references to Tua Tagovailoa, Penix pointing at Tua or the phrase “what happened to Penix” should not be confused with the decisive interception that ended this game.
Ravens Stats and Kicking Performance
Kicker Tyler Loop also earned recognition for his contribution to Baltimore’s win. He converted all three of his field-goal attempts in the first half, accounting for nine points.
Loop made two field goals from 51 yards and added a 21-yard kick. Those points kept Baltimore within reach while the offense worked through a challenging first half.
His accuracy proved important in a close game that ultimately required overtime. Alongside Huntley’s late drive, Henry’s running and Hamilton’s interception, Loop’s reliability helped Baltimore complete the comeback.
Other players and personnel associated with the Ravens, including Tavius Robinson and Roger Rosengarten, remain relevant to broader roster discussions, but the supplied report does not identify individual statistical highlights for them in this game.
What Does the Win Mean for the Baltimore Ravens?
The 30-23 victory gives Baltimore a significant confidence boost, especially because the team won without Jackson. Huntley’s late-game execution showed that the offense can find solutions when its starting quarterback is unavailable.
The game also highlighted Baltimore’s balanced approach. The passing game produced crucial late gains, Henry helped control the ground attack, Loop delivered valuable points, and Hamilton made the decisive defensive play.
For the Falcons, the loss emphasizes the importance of finishing close games. Atlanta had an opportunity to win in overtime but could not overcome Hamilton’s interception.
The result may influence discussions about the Ravens’ recent form, their upcoming schedule and the broader NFL standings. However, the exact NFC South standings and Baltimore’s current divisional position should be checked against the latest official standings rather than inferred from this single result.
