Trey Lance (born May 9, 2000) is an American football quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). Picked third overall by 49ers in the 2021 NFL Draft, Lance spent most of his rookie season as a backup. Lance was named a starter in 2022, but his season was cut short due to injury.
