The Washington football team will host the New York Giants at the NFC East Showdown on Thursday night. The  show is the 177th regular meeting between the two franchises, and the Giants have a 104-68-4 advantage series. Originally it was called Saturday Night Football because the game was broadcast during Saturdays. The shows that air on the NBC network are five games on Thursdays and three games on Saturday nights. The pre and post-game announcers for this year’s NFL  are Lance Meadow, Paul Dotino, Jeff Feigles, John Schmelk, John Schmilk, Paul Doutino, Bob Papa and Karl Banks.
