Bradshaw is also an actor and singer who has appeared in several television shows and movies, most notably starring in the film Failed to Launch and release several country music albums. He played 14 seasons with Pittsburgh, won four Super Bowl titles in a six-year period (1974, 1975, 1978, and 1979), became the first quarterback to win three and four Super Bowls, and led the Steelers to eight AFC Central. FORT WORTH, Texas (CN) – Pro football commentator and former star quarterback Terry Bradshaw has sued California clothing baron RWC Fashion Apparel in Tarrant County Court, claiming that he used it to promote its products online. Never paid him to use his likeness.
RWC’s site featured a video clip of Bradshaw’s September 2007 appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, sporting RWC apparel.
Bradshaw also accused company owner Randy Willard of overcharging his American Express card for custom clothing and other costs without informing him.
Bradshaw sought a temporary restraining order to force RWC Fashion Apparel to remove his name and image from their site. He also seeks $509,000 in actual and punitive damages to cover credit-card charges, and $100,000 for the use of his likeness.
The former star quarterback claims he has worked with Willard and his company since 2006.
