Susie Wolff, managing director of the F1 Academy, says she is “deeply insulted” by the unfounded allegations made about her, adding that she believes the allegations are rooted in “intimidating and misogynistic” behaviour.
Wolff has found himself in the headlines after the FIA issued a statement on Tuesday night saying its compliance department had opened an investigation into a possible conflict of interest between an F1 team principal and a member of FOM personnel.
It is concerning that the governing body says there was a suggestion that confidential information was disseminated.
