The 2023 Survivor Series: WarGames is the upcoming 37th annual Survivor Series professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It will be held for wrestlers from the promotion’s Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event will take place at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois on Saturday, November 25, 2023, marking the third Survivor Series to be held in the arena following the 1989 and 2019 events (the 1989 event was held here). Results
The final pay-per-view on the WWE calendar will take place this Saturday night in Chicago.
Survivor Series War Games (Saturday, 8 p.m. ET on Peacock) will bridge the iconic endcap PPV with a callback to the WCW staple with a double-cage match for the two marquee bouts on the card. On the women’s side, Bianca Belair will team with Charlotte Flair, Shotzi and Becky Lynch to face Bayley, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane and Asuka.
On the men’s side, Judgment Day will also feature Drew McIntyre along with Damian Priest, Finn Balor, “Dirty” Dominic Mysterio and JD McDonagh as they face Cody Rhodes, Seth “Freakin’ Rollins, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn . Randy Orton is returning.
Predictions
As is the case with most WarGames matches, there are approximately 30 sub-plots at play. Still, it’s hard to get past the idea of Randy Orton returning from a long layoff and not having his hand raised at the end of the match. The only real way I can mentally picture this is Orton motivating his team to join forces with Judgment Day.
