Ukraine will find a way to win
Scotland and Ukraine are both in good form here – so they are in the semi-finals of the playoffs. Despite both being in good form, we expect Ukraine to win here. Scotland have not lost a game since September where they experienced four games without a win. Meanwhile, Ukraine has not lost since July when England defeated them at the European Championships. This gives you an idea of how difficult it is to defeat them. Throw the sentiments surrounding Ukraine in the picture right now and it looks like they’ll find a way.
Predictions
Ukraine has qualified for the FIFA World Cup only once since breaking away from the Soviet Union in 1991 and had a strong showing. The squad won two of their group stage matches in 2006 and overcame Switzerland in the round of 16 before losing 3–0 against Italy in the quarter-finals. Ukraine’s quest for second place in the competition continues on Wednesday as it tours Scotland for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying semi-final event. Scotland last appeared in the 1998 World Cup and have yet to progress past the group stage in eight attempts. The winner goes on to fight Wales for a place in Group B of the 2022 World Cup tournament.

2022 world cup
Ukraine moved one step closer to qualifying for the 2022 World Cup tonight with an emotional 3-1 win over Scotland at Hampden Park.
The visitors were by far the better team in the first half, a classy, lobed finish from Andrey Yarmolenko put them in front, before forcing two fine defenses from Craig Gordon.
At the start of the second half, Roman Yaremchuk doubled Ukraine’s lead with a clever header. A goal from Callum McGregor had just over ten minutes left, giving Scotland hope.
The home team piled ahead, but was caught in injury time as Artem Dovbik scored a late goal in front of Gordon.
Ukraine will now take on Wales in Cardiff on Sunday for a place in the World Cup in November.
