P.J. Fleck Jr. is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach for the Minnesota Golden Gophers football team. He is the former head coach of the Western Michigan Broncos football team.

Fleck’s annual base salary will be $1.1 million and his base salary will increase by $50,000 on January 1, 2021 and on January 1 of each subsequent year, meaning his base salary during the contract term will peak at $1.4 million during the final contract year.

Minnesota coach P.J. Fleck has agreed to a new seven-year contract through the 2026 season, the school announced Tuesday. Fleck’s new deal, which is 65 percent guaranteed, starts at $4.6 million in 2020 — an increase of $1 million — with a $10 million buyout if he leaves after this season.
