On August 20, 1920, a meeting was held by representatives of the Akron Pros, Canton Bulldogs, Cleveland Indians, and Dayton Triangles at the Jordan and Hupmobile auto showroom in Canton, Ohio. This meeting resulted in the formation of the American Professional Football Conference (APFC), a group who, according to the Canton Evening Repository, intended to “raise the standard of professional football in every way possible, to eliminate bidding for players between rival clubs and to secure cooperation in the formation of schedules”.

Player dies

Demaryius Thomas’ death is supposed to have occurred in the privacy of his own house in Roswell, Georgia. Likewise, Thomas is alleged to have died from a seizure caused by injuries he sustained in a car accident in 2019.

Thomas was a good Christian who belonged to the Evangelical Church.

On his Twitter account, Thomas frequently discussed his faith. On his left arm, Thomas has a tattoo of a depiction of Jesus with the inscription “Jesus Saves” underneath the portrait.

Overtime rules

During the regular season in the NFL, one overtime period is played (with each team receiving two-time outs). If the game is still tied after the 10-minute overtime, the game officially ends in a tie. Before the 2017 season, there was 15-minute overtime.
