Contract

The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed a two-year contract with quarterback Michelle Trubisky

According to Tom Pelicero of NFL Network, the base salary of Trubisky’s contract is $14.25 million over two years. However, the deal is worth up to $27 million with incentives.

The nearly $13 million incentive gives reason to believe that the Steelers have started holding out hopes for Trubisky. He will compete with Mason Rudolph, Dwayne Haskins and fourth quarterback for the starting job.

The Steelers may still draft a quarterback with potential starting in 2022. As of now, it can be assumed that Trubisky is the starting front-runner in Pittsburgh’s mind.
