Iron Mike Tyson isn’t going to back down from any fight – or any guts.

And it contains psychedelic toad venom.

The former heavyweight boxing champion said he “died” four years ago for the first time using Todd’s venom and continues to use it.

“In my travels I’ve seen that death is beautiful,” Tyson told The New York Post at Wonderland, a Miami convention devoted to psychedelics, microdosing and healing. “Life and death both have to be beautiful, but death has a bad rep. Todd taught me I’m not going to be here forever. There’s an expiration date.”

The “toad” is Bufo alvarius, a Mexico amphibian otherwise known as the Sonoran Desert toad. It hibernates underground for seven months, but when it is above ground its venom can be smoked to produce a psychoactive experience.

Tyson, now 55, said he has taken the poison more than 50 times and admitted he took the first one as a dare.

Did He Died Today

Mike Tyson said that during his first experience with Todd Venom, the 55-year-old former heavyweight champion saw what happens in his afterlife.

“I ‘died’ during my first visit,” he told The New York Post at Wonderland, a Miami convention devoted to psychedelics, microdosing and medicine. The toad he is referring to is called the Bufo alvarius, otherwise known as the Sonoran Desert Toad. It hibernates underground for seven months of the year, but apparently, when it is above ground its venom can be smoked to produce a psychoactive experience.

Tyson told The Post that he has experimented with Todd’s venom 53 times. “In my travels, I have seen that death is beautiful,” said the great boxer. “Life and death both have to be beautiful, but death has a bad rep. Todd taught me I’m not going to be here forever. There’s an expiration date.”

He said he originally indulged in smoking Toad’s venom after doing it as an adventure four years ago. “I was doing heavy drugs like cocaine, so why not?” Tyson said, noting that he was 100 pounds overweight at the time and was heavily involved with drugs. “It’s another dimension,” he said of the experience. “Before I was Todd, I was a wreck. The toughest opponent I’ve ever faced was me. I had low self-esteem. People with big egos often have low self-esteem. We tend to subsidize it on our own. Let’s use the ego. Toad takes away the ego.”

Net Worth

Mike Tyson lost a great deal of his net worth when he spent his money on elite luxuries. Not only did they buy big, expensive houses and other housing around the world, but they also bought foreign cars. At one point, he even had a pet tiger which reportedly cost him $71,000.

The superstar owned 3 Bengal tigers and is said to have spent $60,000 on each. With an additional $70,000 on their maintenance and diet. He even had to hire an animal trainer, which cost him another $125,000.

‘Iron’ Mike Tyson had it all when he was competing at the highest level. As scary as he was in the ring, the poster boy of the game was equally notorious outside the ring.

Mike Tyson earned over $700 million from his boxing bouts alone, but he also used this money to invest in his career. He spent a significant portion of it in training, accommodation and other things related to boxing. Nevertheless, his peak net worth has been estimated to be over $300 million.

Among other things, Mike Tyson also bought a gilded bathtub, which reportedly cost him $2.2 million, exotic doves, mansions, and jewelry, which reportedly cost him around $5 million.
