Michael Vincent Budenholzer is an American basketball coach who has worked with various NBA teams. He served as the head coach for the Milwaukee Bucks, leading them to their first NBA championship in 2021. Before joining the Bucks, he worked with the Atlanta Hawks for five seasons and the San Antonio Spurs for 19 seasons. While with the Spurs, he started as an alternate video coordinator for two seasons before becoming an assistant coach under head coach Gregg Popovich.

It was only later revealed by Darvin Ham, the coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Budenholzer is a father of four children: William Vincent, Savoia Elizabeth, Hanna Louise, and John Bent. Sadly, just before game four against the Miami Heat in the first round of the 2023 NBA playoffs on April 24, one of Budenholzer’s siblings passed away in a car accident.
