Max Holloway vs Alexander Volkanovsky 3
No two fighters are more evenly matched in any weight class than Holloway and Volkanowski. The pair have fought in 10 highly competitive tours, with the Australian winning both fights with razor-thin decisions. The most recent is the 2020 split-decision win at UFC 251. Like the first two encounters, this scrap can be settled by mistakes and in-fight adjustments.

10 Rounds of History: The “Blessed” and the “Great” get to know each other as deeply as two fighters can after 50 minutes of action. Both of their bouts were extremely close and a case could be made that Holloway won against Volkanowski, rather than won in both. The intelligence that both men have gleaned from their previous scraps will be massive in creating their game plan for July 2, including potential backup plans and wrinkles.
