Louis Boileau-Domingue (born 6 March 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing with the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Domingue was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes in the fifth round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, 138th overall.

Wife
Louis Domingue’s wife is Genevieve Boisvert. The two tied the knot a few years back on August 17. They have been together for over a decade and dated for years before getting married. Louis and his wife Genevieve are raising two children. Their first child, a daughter named Mila was born on 13 April 2016. Furthermore, they welcomed a son named Liam on 31st May 2018.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed goalkeeper Louis Domingue to a one-year contract, general manager Ron Hextall announced today.
The two-way contract runs through the 2021–22 season and has an average annual value of $750,000 at the NHL level.
Domingue, 29, spent the 2020-21 season in the Flames organization, splitting time between Calgary and the American Hockey League’s Stockton Heat. The goalkeeper spent the majority of the previous season on the Flames’ taxi squad, with one game with Calgary and three games in Stockton fit.
The 6-foot-3, 208-pound goaltender has played 140 games in the NHL over the past seven seasons with Arizona, Tampa Bay, New Jersey, Vancouver and Calgary. Domingue has compiled a 58-59-10 record at the NHL level with 3.05 goals-average, .904 percent saves and two shutouts. His best NHL season came in 2018–19 with Tampa Bay, when he went 21–5–0, which included an 11-game winning streak, a team record at the time.
Domingue has played parts of seven seasons in the AHL, split between Portland, Springfield, Syracuse, Binghamton and Stockton. In 103 career AHL games, the goaltender holds a 46-40-9 record with 2.93 goals-against average and .903 save percentage with five shutouts.
Injury
As TribLive.com reports, coach Mike Sullivan said Domingue (legs) is up week-to-week. Domingue landed on injured reserve on Thursday after suffering an injury in practice. The 29-year-old is unlikely to be on the NHL roster once he recovers, as Casey DeSmith remains healthy and active as Pittsburgh’s backup goalkeeper.
