Kevin Wayne Durant is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He played one season of college basketball for the Texas Longhorns, and was selected as the second overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007 NBA draft.

Trade Rumors:
The Brooklyn Nets are the center of the NBA offseason when it comes to free agency and trade rumors, largely centered around Kyrie Irving.
However, Irving’s future is said to be directly tied to Kevin Durant. If Irving is traded or not given the big extension to align with Durant’s contract, the star forward might request a trade himself.
Portland Trial Blazers:
That’s where Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard stepped in to turn things up a notch.
The Nets are basically taking on salaries at this point and would request all kinds of first-round picks and pick swaps for giving up Durant in this scenario. It’s hard to see Brooklyn going for this, but the Trail Blazers have enough expiring contract value here.
Wife:
Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant has previously been engaged but he isn’t currently, nor has ever been, married.
She told Risen Magazine: “There was a lot of criticism over it but I think God had my back in it.
“Because I hold to what I know to be true, that is what God will reward instead of what people on the earth think is a good catch.”
Trade:
Irving’s negotiations with the Nets have been predictably complex, leading to multiple reports that Durant would follow his friend out the door if Irving leaves. But Durant insists he’s staying hands off.
“It’s no involvement at all. I can’t be involved with it,” Durant told host Eddie Gonzalez on an episode of Durant’s “The ETCs” podcast that dropped Friday morning.
“This is this man’s livelihood. This is much bigger than me. Being a free agent, it’s one of the most important times in your career. That can’t be swayed by anybody else. I just do me and wait for the time.”
