Julius Randall is one of the finest players to have ever played for the Pelicans franchise and was selected by 2K as a member of the all-time New Orleans Pelicans NBA team. He plays in this all-time team as a power forward or center position.
Is injury
Julius Randall or the Los Angeles Lakers did not want to make this debut. Instead of celebrating his first NBA game, Randall, the seventh overall pick in June’s draft, was moved out of the Staples Center, with his worried mother watching him. The Lakers later confirmed that Randall had fractured his tibia, the larger of the two bones in his lower leg. The 6’9″, 250-pound rookie had high hopes this season, one that ended after his foot got in the way. The injury mechanism for this type of fracture is unusual as it usually is a traumatic injury, where the bone itself is overloaded and breaks under pressure. An extreme, but apt, comparison is to Paul George, who after awkwardly landing on a basket stanchion during a US national team exhibition earlier this year He had fractured both his tibia and fibula in a freak accident.
Does have brother
Randall’s younger brother, Jamie Adams is also a professional basketball player.
