Shantel is his girlfriend, John and Shante reportedly met in Cleveland where Shante is from. The two have kept their relationship private but she was recently spotted sitting courtside supporting Wall at one of his Summer League games. Shante, who gave birth to her second child (her first with John Wall) just a few short weeks ago, currently lives with Wall and their son at the Wizard baller’s mansion in Potomac.

Injury

Veteran guard John Wall was an unexpected late scratch for the Houston Rockets prior to Thursday’s game. After his suffering from a contusion to his left knee during Wednesday’s practice. Head coach Stephen Silas said postgame that he did not anticipate Wall being able to play in Friday’s game at Utah, either. The timetable beyond that is unclear.
