Cowboys owner Jerry Jones faced a scare Wednesday night after being involved in a car accident in Dallas, followed by a brief hospitalization, Jerry’s son Stephen Jones told The Associated Press on Thursday that his father is now Are “home and fine” after a minor car accident.
According to WFAA.com, Jones was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons after suffering minor injuries in the accident. Emergency personnel were called to the spot after 8 pm. CT to assess debris. It is not clear whether Jones was driving or whether he was a passenger in the car.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was taken to hospital on Wednesday night after a 79-year-old was involved in a minor car accident in Dallas.
According to WFAA-TV, emergency workers were called to the accident at approximately 8:10 p.m. in downtown Dallas near Harry Hines Boulevard and Wolf Street. Jones’ injuries were minor but he was taken to the hospital to be checked out and returned home later that night.
“He’s all good,” Stephen Jones, Jerry’s son and the Cowboys’ chief operating officer and executive vice president, told the Dallas Morning News.
What happened to
Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones was taken to hospital on Wednesday for “precautionary reasons” after being involved in a minor car accident, ESPN’s Todd Archer reports.
Executive Vice President Stephen Jones told Archer that his father had been discharged from the hospital and that “all is well.” The Cowboys owners are currently resting at home after being discharged.
The incident is said to have happened after 8 pm. ET local time near Wolf and Harry Hines Boulevard, as emergency vehicles swung into action. Archer reported that Jones suffered “minor injuries”, but there was no indication that the cowboy’s owner was driving or a passenger.
