No-one was injured in the crash, which occurred just days before Watts — a former Melbourne player — announced his AFL retirement.

A warrant was issued for the 30-year-old’s arrest earlier today after he did not attend his first appearance in the Adelaide Magistrates Court. But his lawyer Darren Russo told the court that his client had never been served and had been “at pains” to contact police on the matter.
