Ja Morant wasn’t part of thisyear’s All-Star Dunk Contest, one of the worst in history for having the best dunkers in the game right now.

We can’t wait for th day in which Ja Morant agrees to perform and compete against a recovered Zion Williamson for the price.

We would also love to get Anthony Edwards in the mix and we could get us the best slam dunk contest of all-time. We can only cross our fingers for that to happen in the future.

Game 5 between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Minnesota Timberwolves followed suit and brought out some superstars to FedExForum.

Ja Morant‘s father, Tee, made waves earlier in the series for his wager with Karl-Anthony Towns’ father. However, the attention from the bet had fans talking about more than what happened on the hardwood.

Make no mistake, all of these three players will someday perform in this All-Star contest. Let’s just hope they do it together.

Ja Morant had a pretty exceptional campaign in this 2021-2022 regular season. Averaging 27.4 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.4 rebounds, while leading the Grizzlies to a 56-win year, Morant was rightly rewarded with the 2022 Most Improved Player award.

Despite his regular-season success, the 6-foot-3 guard hasn’t had quite the start to his second-ever playoffs.

Sure, the Grizzlies have won two games in the first-round series against the Timberwolves, and Ja has already recorded a historic triple-double, however, the former ROTY hasn’t been up to the mark he set for himself.
