Memphis Grizzlies superstar Jaa Morant is showing the entire NBA that he has all the steps to become a superstar in the league.

The Grizzlies were trailing the LA Lakers for most of the game last night before starting a rebellion late in the third quarter. Morant returned with a last-second three-point shot, which extended the Lakers’ lead to just five points as they entered the fourth quarter.

The shot opened fire through the anxious Memphis Grizzlies crowd and certainly turned the momentum in the Grizzlies’ favor. Ja Morant with his trademark gridy ran to the other side of the court to celebrate another big shot.

While the LA Lakers headed to victory, the 22-year-old ultra-athletic guard held back the Memphis Grizzlies. The Minnesota Timberwolves were confident they could take the series to Game 7 against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. They had Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards to pay for them, but they were facing one of the best players in the current NBA season. Ja Morant is currently improving without knowing how high he can get, he is already an elite star who takes cover every time he plays.

With Memphis, he’s delivering memorable nights out all year long while he’s healthy. Even though he didn’t play a humiliating game tonight, he provided the most important assist of the series for Jones. With more than a minute left in the game, Morant got that money in less than two seconds on the shot clock. Jones built a bucket that gave Memphis the lead they needed.

Minnesota got Anthony Edwards to play great basketball with a 30-point performance. Towns was also very good, with 18 points and 10 rebounds. But the Memphis Grizzlies showed that they can behave like a united Dylan Brooks and Desmond Bain when they need to. They each scored 23 points, with Morant and Clark scoring 17 points each.

Jaren Jackson Jr. drops 18. These Memphis Grizzlies certainly have what it takes to play a semifinal, but they really struggled against Minnesota throughout the series. His next opponent next week will be even more difficult. At the end of the game, Ja Morant performed that famous ‘griddy’ on the Timberwolves court to celebrate the series win.
