It debuted in 2005 on the PlayStation 2 (PS2) video game console and has since grown to include ten games on various platforms, with an additional game currently under development. It has become a flagship title for the PlayStation brand.
The plot, which is based on historical events, centres on Kratos, a Spartan warrior who eventually became the God of War after being duped by his old boss, Ares, the original Greek God of war, into murdering his family.
Wars with the pantheons result from a chain of events that are sparked by this.
Due to the schemes of the Olympian Gods, Kratos takes a road of revenge during the Greek era of the series.

Ragnarok price
The PlayStation 5 and PS4 versions of God of War Ragnarok will be available on November 9 for $70 and $60, respectively.
Kratos’ in-game armour and Atreus’ cosmetic costume will be given to players who preorder the game or buy it at launch.
God of War Ragnarok PS4 buyers have the option to upgrade to the PS5 version for $10 later on.

Ragnarok new trailer
One more God of War Ragnarok trailer has been released, though it may not be the last. The long-awaited sequel is set to debut in November.
A little more information about the plot involving Kratos and his son Atreus is provided in the video, which includes both pre-rendered scenes and gameplay.
Kratos is once more seeking retribution; Atreus is withholding information from him; and everyone appears to be filled with moral disdain for what Kratos has done with his life.
Additionally, there are images of Freya, Thor, several Valkyries, and Atreus shooting an arrow towards an eclipse, which is supposedly how the end of the world would start.
