Georgia defeated Mizo 299–100 in the second half, starting with the last game of the first half to end the game with a score of 23–6.

Missouri fell 0-17 all-time against No. 1-ranked opponents. It was only the third such game in which the Tigers lost by single digits. Georgia improved to 15–1 as the No.1-ranked team against a non-ranked opponent.

Dog Flats Come Out…Again
A week after some uncharacteristically sloppy play in their 39-22 win against Kent State, Georgia looked like the same flat version of itself in the first half. The Bulldogs received an early kickoff and immediately went three-out as Trajan Jeffcott of Missouri sacked Bennett on third and -14.

The Tigers managed to dodge Bennett in the first half as the Bulldogs failed to score on their first five possessions. Included in that section was a pair of rumbles that gave Missouri good field conditions. Georgia was particularly ineffective in running the football in the first half, entering the break with only 33 yards to spare. That mark was also extended by Kendall Milton’s 35-yard run that ended with a fumble.
