Mayweather Promotion$ will hold a PPV for LIVENow on Saturday, May 14th. The PPV is called The Showcase in the Skies as it will take place at the helipad above the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai. There is a four-combat card consisting of one women’s super featherweight match, one cruiserweight match, and two appearances. The main event of the evening is an exhibition that will feature Floyd Mayweather and Don Moore. The main card will start at 2 pm. ET. PPV is seen as being available worldwide, which means that PPV revenue is expected to be very high.

The payoff for the fight has not yet been officially released, but we can make some predictions based on Mayweather’s recent appearances. Each fighter will earn a set purse and then a percentage of PPV sales. Mayweather’s typical purse is $10 million, while his competitors are typically set at $1 million. They are expected to earn 80% of PPV revenue, with the other 20% left for Moore. Estimates for this match have estimated Mayweather to make over $50 million from PPV sales, and Moore can expect between six and 10 million.

It is worth noting that he earned $9 million for his last-minute exhibition bout in Japan against kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa. It didn’t go as planned so is not likely to be a great comp.

Mayweather, 45, retired after his 10th-round TKO of UFC icon Conor McGregor, which many expected to be held as an exhibition, but took place as a professional competition.

That victory took Mayweather’s professional record to 50–0, punctuating a pro career in which the American defeated Manny Pacquiao, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, Ricky Hatton, Oscar de la Hoya and many others.

27 of Mayweather’s 50 victories were by knockout/TKO, and “Money” took world titles in five weight categories.

Boxrec

Floyd Mayweather took a jibe at his boxing rivals by posting a picture of Boxerrack rated the title ‘Greatest of All Time’ on social media.

The American welterweight won all 50 of his professional bouts in a career spanning 21 years, and he reminded the world of it.

Mayweather’s rating is ahead of Manny Pacquiao and Muhammad Ali in the BoxRack calculations.

The 44-year-old scored 2256 points according to the system, a far cry from second-place Pacquiao in 1629.

Exhibition

Mayweather finally gets to the ring and when he remembers you that other than some crap boxing, it’s a pleasure to see this master at work, even though his attitude towards fighting was questionable.

He began the first round by assessing his opponent and standing in typical opening round fashion.

It was almost as good for Moore who, despite being an exhibition bout, was given a tough time by his opponent.

Round two brought exemplary footwork and brought out his left-handed jab combinations that Moore struggled to tackle throughout. When Moore tried to offer the same in a rare moment where Mayweather had left himself open in third, he simply sank under the oncoming glove.
