Novak Djokovic won his first match by defeating Roger Federer in three sets at the ATP World Tour Finals this evening.

The world number two claimed the opener in the last game of the first set, before the Swiss drew with a tiebreak win in the second.

However, the Serb took two breaks in the decider to coast for the win.
