Last year, they announced that they were getting divorced. Dell and Sonya Curry both accused each other of cheating during their marriage, with Sonya claiming that Dale had engaged in “illegal sexual misconduct” and that his affairs were well known to the family.

Dale hit back and said that Sonya was having an affair with Johnson while they were still together.

Del Curry is a n American former professional basketball player who has a net worth of $8 million. Dell is the father of NBA MVP Steph Curry and NBA player Seth Curry.

Dale Curry was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia in June 1964. He was a 6’4″ shooting guard and small forward who was a McDonald’s High School All-American at Fort Defense High School. Curry won state championships in basketball and baseball and was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 1982 MLB Draft. Curry joined Virginia Tech where he was a three-time First-team All-Metro Conference selection. He was named Metro Conference Player of the Year in 1986 and a consensus Second Team All-American.

Parents

The eldest of the Curry family, Stephen Curry is undoubtedly one of the many grand names in the NBA, and all basketball fans will agree that he is a phenomenal shooter. Stephen had athletic genes growing up thanks to his dad and mom, and sports achievements run in the family. Stephen Curry’s parents are Dale Curry and Sonya Curry. Stephen was born on March 14, 1988, in Akron, Ohio, to Dale and Sonya. Both his parents are big athletes. Her father played in the NBA during Curry’s childhood, while her mother was a famous volleyball star when she was in college at Virginia Tech.

College

Curry was a four-year starter at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg with contemporaries Bobby Beecher, Perry Young, Al Young and Keith Colbert. The Hokies appeared in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) in 1983 and 1984, the latter finishing third. Although the team qualified for the big bids for the NCAA Tournament in 1985 and 1986, it lost in the first round on both occasions. In his senior season in 1986, Curry was named player of the year in the Metro Conference. Prior to the 1986–87 season, NCAA basketball did not have a three-point line; Curry’s precise long-range shooting was not rewarded, as it would be later in his NBA career. (In the early and mid-1980s, the three-point line was introduced at various conventions at varying distances, but was not recognized by the NCAA.)

While Stephen Curry made big shots on the court, the public enjoyed watching him play, and some even made moves during the point guard’s big night. Dale Curry was at Madison Square Garden when his son hugged his son in a giant giant after breaking Ray Allen’s 3-point record.

After all the celebrations, the game continued, and Dale was seen talking to a beautiful lady on the stand, making some moves. That was the start of the night for the former NBA player, who is currently going through a divorce with Sonya Curry.
