I turned on the WTEM-980 the other day and thought, “Who’s that squeaky thing?” On the Tony Kornheiser show before realizing it was me. My voice has always been high. There isn’t anything that I can do about it.

Mike Tyson has also always had a loud voice. No one ever thought she was a woman, or suggested that she was a woman, or that she could become a woman. Much of what hasn’t been said about Tyson is half as bad as Griner’s, despite the fact that he was convicted of rape, blown away millions of dollars, got half of his face tattooed, and who Knows what else.

But let a woman’s voice drop an octave and the gloves come off. Why does this give someone the right to attack Griner? It has always amazed me. Why in the world do people care so much about something that affects them so little? please be silent.

Is transgender

Yes,  Grinder is a transgender. Brittany Griner’s wife Cherrell has said that the WNBA player “fears” and “struggles” every day that she remains in custody in Russia. Cherrell tells Rev. Al Sharpton that he is only able to communicate with his wife through letters, with Griner putting up a brave front.

“He’s like, ‘I’m fine, babe. I’m rude. I’m just not me. When I get home, it’s going to take me a minute to get back to myself, but I’m stuck. I then I won’t break until I get home. I won’t let them break me. I know they’re trying, but I’ll do my best to just stay until I get home.'”

In early April, reporter Morty Ann spoke with Brittany Griner about all things body—from growth-inflation aches and size 17 shoes to being bullied and having to come to your parents. Then, on April 22, the conversation around Griner changed. He and then-fiancé Glory Johnson, also of the WNBA, were arrested at their home in Arizona for assault and disorderly conduct. The police report described the incident as a “mutual fight”. On April 28, Griner pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct (the assault charge was dropped) and agreed to undergo 26 weeks of domestic violence counseling, after which the disorderly conduct charge would also be dropped. Johnson has pleaded not guilty to the charges of disorderly conduct and assault; His case is going on. On June 5, less than a month after the two were married, Griner filed for an annulment. Following the arrest, the WNBA suspended both Griner and Johnson for seven games. Griner began playing on June 27, while Johnson, who is now pregnant, is out of the season. (Johnson did not return a request for comment.) As part of a follow-up interview for The Body Issue, espnW reporter Kate Fagan sat down with Griner to discuss the incident. The following is pulled from both interviews.
