Alvin Mantian Kamara (born July 25, 1995) is an American football running back for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Tennessee after transferring from Hutchinson Community College and was drafted by the Saints in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was named NFL Rookie of the Year in 2017, has been a pro bowler in all five of his NFL seasons, and is a two-time Second Team All-Pro. The 25-year-old’s 56.2 fantasy points is the most scored by a player during a fantasy championship week. This six-touchdown blast now surpassed Todd Gurley’s 49.6-point game from Week 16 during the 2017 season. In that game, Gurley finished with a run of 118 yards and received 10 catches for 158 yards to go with two touchdowns.

That performance certainly helped Fantasy Managers claim a championship that year, and Kamara has managers in a prime position to bring home some hardware this season as well.

The New Orleans Saints beat Alvin Kamara to win a lot of fantasy championships this week with his massive, six-touchdown performance versus the Minnesota Vikings on Friday.

One of those lucky beneficiaries was Belen Breeze, son of Saints quarterback Drew Brees, as he told reporters Monday:

Kamara ran 22 times for 155 yards and six scores in a 52-33 win over Minnesota, while adding three receptions for 17 yards. It was a legendary performance.

And hey, if it even helps the quarterback’s son win a fantasy title, that’s just gravy. Keeping QB1 happy is never a bad idea.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported late Saturday that while McCaffrey is “likely” to play against Arizona on Sunday, he “may not” be in full force.

McCaffrey (thigh) returned to limited practice on Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday’s sessions. He is officially listed as a “suspicious” title in the Panthers Week 4 late afternoon competition against the Cardinals, but ESPN writer David Newton thinks McCaffrey will “attempt” to play.

While things were headed in the wrong direction after logging two straight “DNPs”, McCaffrey is trending towards.

Alvin Kamara (ribs) is officially suspicious for Saints Week 4 matchup with the Vikings.

Kamara has been a limited participant in the exercise in Week 4. Kamra missed Week 2 due to a rib injury, but was able to cover a total of 73 yards in Week 3. If Kamra doesn’t follow suit in London, fantasy managers should expect Mark Ingram and Dwayne Washington to see extra touches in Week 4
