Brown, who was fine throughout the week, came on the injury report after missing Friday’s practice. His absence represents a legitimate concern for the Titans, who are already without Derrick Henry (leg). If Brown can’t suit up, Julio Jones, Anthony Firkser, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Chester Rogers and Jeremy McNichols will be in line to see more achieving work.

What are experts saying
We don’t technically know how the Titans would work without Henry, but it’s clear they’ll have to keep using the play-action. Tannehill used PA on only 25% of his throws in Weeks 1-4, down from 36% in 2020. From 5-8 weeks this number has increased to 34.7%. Curiously, Tannehill ranks first in the NFL in EPA per play during this time. No receiver in the league is more targeted at the PA than AJB, who checks in at 44%. The concept has helped turn the Browns’ season after a slow start. Whatever the offense of Tennessee, we need them to implement this strategy.

Brown (knee) practiced as usual on Wednesdays and Thursdays this week, but a “DNP” position on Friday for Sunday night’s game is in question. A weekend downgrade is always worrisome, but Brown reportedly didn’t sound overly concerned when speaking with the media on Friday. Still, fantasy bosses have to be prepared for Brown to go dormant on Sunday night.

If Brown is passive there aren’t too many viable pivots. The best widely available option would be Van Jefferson of LA, but you can also check to see if Darnell Mooney (Groin) of Chicago is a free agent in your league on the wire. Worst case scenario, you can try a Tennessee backup like Josh Reynolds or Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and just hope for a touchdown. You can also go for the Steelers tee pat freermuth if you left your flex spot open.
