The Bulldogs managed to pull off the win after being 20-6 and 27-13 down for most of the fourth quarter, the decisive score coming from a two-point run conversion after freshman Nate Frazier plunged over the middle.
It happened after a seventh overtime in which Georgina slightly higher Kevin Beck was chased down on a designed run up the middle and then learned Mondon got interference called on his attempt to catch a pass, and took the Yellow Jackets from the 1 ½ yard line in the center, though CJ Allen quenched Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King’s run.
When the eighth overtime started with the Yellow Jackets, Allen forced King into an incomplete pass after he pressured him when the Yellow Jackets went first in the eighth overtime.
