Wife:
The couple first introduced themselves to each other while out to dinner. They started dating and finally married in 2010. They had three children, Gavin Getzlaf, Willa Getzlaf, Ryder Getzlaf.
Paige often posted their kid’s photo on Twitter. The Getzlafs live in Coto de Caza, California, during the season, and they move to a residence they have in Kelowna, British Columbia, during the off-season.
Hair:
They have two Stanley Cup final appearances, a championship, have been home to a handful of Hall of Fame and future Hall of Fame players, and while this season has quickly gone south they have been a fairly consistent contender throughout much of their existence.
The celebration continues on March 20 with a Ryan Getzlaf draft bobblehead doll that looks at the, uh, let’s just say evolution of their captain’s hair from his draft year in 2003 to the present day.
Stanley Cup:
Getzlaf is wrapping up his 17th season in the NHL, all of them with the Ducks. He came back for another season with the franchise in the offseason, signing a one-year contract.
The 19th overall selection in the 2003 NHL Draft has battled injuries this season and played sparingly over the last month or so. He wanted his final game to be in front of the Anaheim faithful.
Last game:
Anaheim hasn’t had a lot of success the past three seasons, but Getzlaf was a main component in its recent runs as a contender in the Western Conference.
Getzlaf ends his career with a Stanley Cup, three-All Star selections, two Olympic gold medals and a number of franchise records.
Net Worth:
Another milestone came late in the 2012–13 season as Getzlaff recorded his 500th point on March 8, 2013 in a 4–0 win over the Calgary Flames, aided by a goal from Bobby Ryan.
On the same day, the Ducks signed Getzlaff to an eight-year contract extension that runs through the 2021–22 season and is worth $66 million.
