On 7 May 2020, it was again reported that he’d broken lockdown rules by travelling to Sheffield to give a present to his sister and hugging her. He later admitted that he also visited his parents to pick up food.

Manchester City said they would not discipline him for this, citing the trip was for personal reasons. He later tweeted that he felt him and his family were being harassed and that the reports were affecting the mental health of his whole family.

Illness:

Kyle Walker has been suffering from an illness that has forced him to miss Manchester City’s last two games.

The England right-back has not been in the squad since the 1-0 win over Wolves over a week ago, when he sat on the bench as Joao Cancelo took his place and Aleks Zinchenko came in at left-back.

Brother:

Somehow the brilliant 20-year-old Tottenham academy right-back is no relation to the brilliant first-team right-back who recently moved to Man City with the same blistering pace, minus the Peters.

Kyle wouldn’t have joined Tottenham if not getting help from his uncle’s friend Bryan King, who was his former goalkeeper and teammate at Millwall.

Bryan, who is now 71 (as at the time of writing) was a scout at Spurs at the time Kyle Walker-Peters was assisted.
