Update: Edmonds was not active and will be out for week 14. Cardinals coach Cliff Kingsbury had said that Edmonds would return for Week 15.
Edmonds (ankle) hasn’t played since Week 9, but after being named to return from the IR on Thursday, many expected him to follow suit against the Rams on Monday night. In fact, Cardinals coach Cliff Kingsbury said last week that Edmonds would return for the game. However, Arizona has until Monday afternoon to activate Edmonds, and it apparently wants to wait until then before making an official decision.
It seems unlikely that Edmonds will play, but given the uncertainty of the situation, combined with Edmonds’ relatively low ceiling (and a mediocre floor in the standard league), Fantasy owners need to keep Edmonds on their bench for at least one more week. It would be wise If Edmonds is declared out, there are not many viable pivots, as you would have to rely on a risky WR, such as Rondell Moore or AJ. Green for your flex spots. If you need an RB, you’ll probably fall short in Eno Benjamin or Mekhi Sargent.
With just one TD this year, the Edmonds PPR League has only one solid floor. In such a tough matchup where he could see limited touch, Edmonds just isn’t worth the wait.

The last thing fantasy football owners need at this critical juncture in the season is a “suspicious” playing back on Monday Night Football. However, the same is the case with Chase Edmonds (ankle), which still hasn’t been activated by IR. Chances are, more than a few owners were playing at Edmonds in Week 14, so start them, decisions hang in the balance until we get further updates on their status.
Week 15
Mitchell (concussion, knee) has been tending to be out against the Bengals throughout the week, but there is a good chance he will be able to play against Atlanta. As always, we’ll have to keep up with the latest practice reports before Sunday, but if Mitchell can go he really needs to get off to a start.
Atalanta left RB the seventh most fantasy points, so we prefer Mitchell as RB15 in the standard and RB14 in the PPR. Jeff Wilson Jr. has been a bummer in the two matches where he was the primary back, but a lot of it has to do with Debo Samuel taking a very important touch. That said, if Mitchell is out, Wilson will still have some flex appeal, though he’s clearly riskier.

The Arizona Cardinals announced a pair of roster moves ahead of their Monday night game against the Los Angeles Rams, activating a pair of players from injured reserve.
Long snapper Aaron Brewer and defensive lineman Rashard Lawrence will both return to the lineup for Arizona. The team announced on Monday afternoon that both have been activated from IR. Lawrence’s return will aid the run defense and should edge the kicking game to Brewer, who has struggled in the last two games.
However, leaving behind Chase Edmonds and safety Charles Washington, both were named to return this week so they can practice, stay out and spend at least one more week on injured reserve.
