The result moved the Sky to 14-22, while the Liberty fell to 22-15. New York had won the first two meetings between the teams this season by one point each, but Chicago reversed the trend in the third matchup.
Natasha Cloud Leads Chicago With 35 Points
Natasha Cloud was the difference-maker for Chicago, scoring a career-high 35 points. She knocked down four 3-pointers in the first half and continued making important shots throughout the second half.

She also became the first player in WNBA history to score 3,000 points with multiple franchises.
Stewart was particularly effective defensively in the fourth quarter, helping New York mount its comeback before Chicago regained control.
Rebecca Allen Adds 14 Points
Rebecca Allen gave New York another offensive boost with a season-high 14 points. She made three 3-pointers during the third quarter, matching her season high for made threes in a game.
Her shooting helped the Liberty cut into Chicago’s lead and provided valuable support for Stewart and Ionescu.
Han Xu added 12 points and seven rebounds off the bench, while Pauline Astier contributed eight points for New York.
Chicago Survives a Dramatic Fourth Quarter
The Liberty entered the fourth quarter trailing 74-66 but quickly began closing the gap.
New York used an 8-0 run to get back into the contest. Stewart then connected from 3-point range to bring the Liberty within one.
A steal from Stewart created another opportunity, and Marine Johannès eventually hit a 3-pointer with just over two minutes remaining to give New York its first lead since the opening quarter.
Chicago responded immediately.
Cloud hit a crucial mid-range jumper before Cardoso scored inside to help the Sky regain control. Chicago managed the final possessions and completed the 93-86 victory.
