Zion Williamson hasn’t been ruled out for a full season, but the New Orleans Pelicans have told Cassidy Hubbarth that “a return to the sport is not imminent.”

There’s “no chance” Williamson won’t play in Friday’s potential play-in against the Los Angeles Clippers, or even in a first-round series against the Phoenix Suns. Before playing in the game last night, Zion was pulling off an incredible dunk, showing how healthy he was.

Zion was going viral during the game for another reason. Zion and her big ass chain were in trend all night.

Zeon Williamson now owns possibly the worst piece of jewelry in the NBA: a custom diamond necklace adorned with a gem-lined Infinity Gauntlet from the movie “Avengers: End Game.”

Williamson, crafted like Thanos, has long expressed an affinity for blockbuster villains. Last year, he said he rooted for Thanos on Captain America and blamed a harsh ending to the script, which cast Thanos as the loser.

Williamson arrived in the NBA with the promise of being the quintessential talent behind his unique blend of jumping explosivity and massive build. He has not yet had a chance to settle in the league, having been injured for all 19 games before the season amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

He will get a chance to show off his skills next month when the NBA campaign resumes in Orlando. Many players missed the action due to health concerns that could be deployed to enjoy the magic of dominance.

During the team’s media day it was revealed that Williamson had undergone surgery to repair a broken right leg during the off-season. Williamson is said to have suffered an injury ahead of the start of the 2021 NBA Summer League.

The Pelicans initially hoped that his timeline would “get him back on the court in time for the regular season.”

On March 5, Williamson returned to New Orleans with the team and was cleared to progress to basketball activities.

On 5 April, his stepfather said that he still hoped to play a one-time All-Star.

“I look forward to playing him,” said Lee Anderson.

“If you ask Zion, I’m sure he’ll probably say the same thing. But what’s happening in New Orleans and just a few games left with a chance to qualify for a play-in game. And probably Join the seven-game series, which will be off the charts in the city of New Orleans. It will be a plus in New Orleans. It will be a plus for Zion the way things are right now.

“Do I expect him to play? Of course I do. However, that’s on me. It’s purely me. I don’t think there’s anything else that would stop him from doing it right now.”
