Zach Thomas LaVine is an American professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association. He was selected in the first round of the 2014 NBA draft with the 13th overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Knee:
At the start of the game between the Golden State Warriors and the Chicago Bulls on Friday, the Chicagofans expected this Bulls team to probably get back to a winning streak. The Golden State Warriors were coming with four defeats out of their last five games and they weren’t playing Klay Thompson.
It all seemed perfectly set for a good night for the Bulls but the first minutes completely changed everything. Zach LaVine made a wrong turn as he got a rebound and suddenly put his hand on the left knee.
Injury status:
With LaVine unable to keep playing, the Bulls were embarrassed at home once again by one of the most powerful teams in the NBA. Initially, there was some hope that Zach could return to the second half of the game.
However, that hope was lost as soon as the third quarter started. No LaVine meant only that the injury was far more serious than it looked at first glance. If the Bulls’ star doesn’t get well soon, he’s be part of the already big list of players who are part of the injured list.

Zach LaVine was born to Paul LaVine ( Father ) and Cheryl Johnson-LaVine ( Mother ).
His father is a former UFSL and NFL football. His mother was a softball player. She has 3 sisters named Camryn LaVine, Linda Carter, and Chandi Leishman.
Girlfriend:
Zach LaVine met his longtime girlfriend Hunter Mar when he attended Bothell High School in Bothell, Washington. Mar and LaVine stayed together while he played his lone season at UCLA. Mar played college soccer at Seattle University.
She followed him to Minneapolis when he was a first-round selection (No. 13 overall) by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2014 NBA Draft.
