Hunter Mar and Zach LaVine were high school sweethearts and the relationship carried on throughout both of their journeys.

While LaVine would go on to play basketball at UCLA, Mar went and played soccer at Seattle University. The two were able to make the long distance relationship hold up during that time.

The Sixers received Josh Richardson and Al Horford in this trade, which made room to sign Tobias Harris and Ben Simmons. The blockbuster deal baffled Smith at time.

Married:

Mar is big on Instagram with over 99k followers, and she has even changed her last name to LaVine on there even though it is unclear if they have actually tied the knot.

While she doesn’t post much, her page is filled with photos of her and LaVine, the two looking as happy as ever and as a power couple in the images.

Parents:

Zach Lavine’s parents are his father Paul Levine and his mother Cheryl Johnson-Lavine.

His father, Paul, played American football professionally in the United States Football League (USFL) and National Football League (NFL), and his mother, CJ, was a softball player.

Around the age of five, LaVine developed an interest in basketball after watching Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan in the film Space Jam.
