Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy was released from a Williamson County, Texas, jail on Saturday following allegations of felony domestic abuse.

Still, the news surrounding the 21-year-old left many fans unsettled.
“Just seeing the news and what happened—it’s shocking,” said sports fan Brian Garcia.
On Friday, Worthy was arrested and charged with assault on a family or household member involving breath impediment.
Following his arrest, Worthy’s attorney released a statement, revealing that the woman who filed the complaint had been living with him for the past two weeks.
