Scouting report
Grissom has an advanced offensive game with solid bat-to-ball skills and a good feel for the strike zone. He makes plenty of contact and could develop solid-average or better power as he continues to add strength to his 6-foot-3-inch frame and learns to get the ball up.
Dad
Vaughn Grissom’s parents, Anthony and Elizabeth Grissom, were present at Fenway Park when he made his MLB debut.
The proud couple were filmed seconds after Vaughn’s devastating hit that saw the baseball fly out of the stadium. The couple embraced each other, celebrating an occasion they will always remember.
