Draft results
The USFL is making its triumphant return to the spring football scene in 2022. The league was last played and operated in 1985, before being bailed-up after the 1986 USFL Draft.
Now, the fledgling league will try to recreate it and do what the AAF (2019) and XFL (2020) could not. It will hope to become a spring-league football staple.
The USFL is set to begin its 10-game, 12-week schedule in April, but teams had to set their own rosters first. He did so during the 2022 USFL Draft, which took place over two days, February 22 and 23.
Draft 2022
The 2022 USFL Draft operated in the same way as the 2019 XFL Draft. Teams were chosen from the same position pool in each round, and the draft used a modified Snakes format to ensure that each team received the top choice in two of the position-specific rounds. A total of 280 players were selected during the opening of the USFL Draft. They would fill 35 of each team’s 38 roster spots, so each team would have to add 10 players after the draft. The USFL plans to host a supplemental draft in March if other players join the league’s talent pool.

Birmingham, Ala – The first draft choices for the upcoming inaugural season of the United States Football League (USFL) have been announced.
The USFL will hold a 35-round draft between Tuesday and Wednesday in Birmingham, Alabama, which is the site of all of the league’s regular season games this season.
According to Fox Sports, the Michigan Panthers picked Shea Patterson. He’s a five-star recruit who starred in both Mississippi and Michigan. Patterson was the first QB on the board in the first round of the USFL.
Fantasy football
The USFL Fantasy Football League entered its 19th season in 2021. The league evolved from the Pepsi Fantasy Football League in 2002 and has had 23 franchises in league history.
The league usually consists of 10 teams instead of the standard 12, but will operate as an 8 team league for the 2020 season. The teams are spread across the country in 3 different states; Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
