The United States men’s national cricket team is the team that represents the United States in international cricket. The team was first organized by the United States Cricket Association (USACA), which became an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1965. In June 2017, USACA was expelled by the ICC due to governance and funding issues, leaving the US team temporarily overseen by ICC Americas until a new sanctioning body was established. In January 2019, USA Cricket was officially granted Associate Membership.

The same team will also play against Bangladesh in Houston, Texas for three T20I bilateral matches before the World Cup.

Two changes in the team: Right-handed batsman and wicketkeeper-all-rounder Shayan Jahangir has been included in place of middle-order batsman Gajanand Singh and fast bowler Ali Khan has been included in place of Usman Rafiq.

Team players from India

The pitch is ready for the T20 World Cup series this year, with players from across the border taking part. The host country of this year’s series is the United States. With the participation of 20 teams from all over the world, it is one of the most anticipated games of the year. The teams’ battle on the cricket pitch will culminate in the final in Barbados on June 29, 2024. Among the various stories to emerge from this series, one of the most interesting has been the Indian-origin cricketers playing against India. Even before this, this arch has repeatedly sparked debates on patriotism and betrayal during international matches.

Of the 20 nations participating in the T20 World Cup, India were placed in Group A along with other teams like Ireland, Canada, arch-rivals Pakistan and the host nation. In the given composition of the teams, while Pakistan and Ireland do not have any players of Indian origin, Team Canada and Team USA are made up of several players of Indian origin.
