UFC 269 is happening tomorrow, and for its final pay-per-view event of the year, the Ultimate Fighting Championship is offering a 15-fight card with 30 fighters entering the octagon at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Is. Headlining the event is the UFC Lightweight Championship match, in which new champion Charles Oliveira will defend his title against Dustin Poirier. Ceremonial weigh ins
The MMA junkie was on the scene and reporting from Friday’s official UFC 269 fighter weigh-ins.
The initial weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex and preceded the formal weigh-ins for fans, which take place at 7 p.m. ET at the Park Theater in Las Vegas. The nearby T-Mobile Arena hosts Saturday’s event, which features the prelims on ESPN and a main card on pay-per-view after the early prelims on ESPN.
Among those weighed in were lightweight champion Charles Oliveira (31–8 MMA, 19–8 UFC) and Dustin Poirier (28–6 MMA, 20–5 UFC), who meet in the main event. Also, women’s featherweight and bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes (21-4 MMA, 14-1 UFC) held her 135-pound title against Juliana Pea (10-4 MMA, 6-2 UFC).
